There'll be live music, arts and crafts, canoeing and fishing to entertain the grown-ups. Children's activities, including face painting, a bouncy castle and a family treasure trail through the woods, will provide hours of amusement. The event, at Goytre Wharf on Saturday 8th Sept starts at 1pm and goes on til 5pm. Entry is free, but car parking will be charged at £1 per car.

2012 marks the 200 year anniversary of the completion of the Monmouthshire Brecon Canal.

The Festival programme, spearheaded by Forgotten Landscapes, includes outdoor activities, guided walks, and events focusing on local history and wildlife.
