Pear and Perry Festival

Monmouthshire Pear and Perry Festival in partnership with the Welsh Cider and Perry Society

It's all going pear shaped in Monmouthshire. Food & Craft producers from Monmouthshire will join together to celebrate the Perry Pear Orchards and the produce made and inspired by them. Restuarants and chefs are invited to develop new Pear based menus and specialist dishes to feature at their establishments and showcase at the festival. Local children and families will be encouraged to investigate the natural flora and fauna linked to the ancient orchards and the benefits of new orchards to wildlife and the local rural economy.

Family activities, demonstrations, Ceilah and a hog roast are some of the attractions on offer within the restored barn of Great Tre-hew near Abergavenny.
